Able Dental Group is a fast paced always evolving dental corporation with multiple offices throughout Southern Alberta. Our Mission, Vision and Values are of high standards to reflect the people we work with and for expecting no less from our team. We are looking for someone to join our IT team. Qualifications would include graduation from a technology related institution with a degree, minimum of 3 years in the technology field with strong emphasis on networking skills with Microsoft Server 2012, Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory and a high level of troubleshooting skills would be an asset. Knowledge in SQL, dental software (AbelDent, Dexis), Microsoft’s Dynamics Great Plains would be an asset but is not necessary. Both a Mac and PC environment skill set with emphasis in the Microsoft Windows environment is a must. Cisco Meraki networking environment experience, virtual servers and desktop experience would also be beneficial for the position. For the right candidate this position could turn into a full time career with a great benefits package. The position is demanding but the rewards are worth the effort.

We need someone who can work under pressure, prioritize and stay focused in the middle of emergency situations.

Specific Skill Requirements

  • Self-starter
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a team player
  • Great communication skills including oral, written, presentation, and over the phone troubleshooting using remote access tools. Easily communicate technical and complex issues to various skill leveled audience
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules
  • Must have clean criminal background and be honest and have integrity
  • Be able to be assigned a task and work independently with little to no supervision
  • Be willing to meet our high standards for success including a dress code
  • Be detailed oriented creating manuals for procedures that are evolving
  • Minimal travel would be involved
  • Previous Experience devising, implementing and maintaining workstations
