Dental Bridges

Porcelain Crowns and Bridges

Porcelain bridges are a natural-looking option for replacing the upper portion of a tooth otherwise too badly damaged to repair. They mirror your tooth’s natural shape, colour, texture and brightness.

Your Able dentist will take you through the three-part process: repairing your tooth and preparing it for a bridge, taking a mold of your tooth with which to make the bridge, and affixing it with a dental adhesive.

This is usually a two-stage appointment process. The first appointment will be used to prepare the tooth and a second appointment two weeks later to cement the final bridge.

During the two-week waiting period, while your bridge is being made, you wear a temporary replacement.

    Dentures and Partial Dentures

Dentures and partial dentures are a non-permanent removable artificial replacement for your natural teeth and gums. In either case, your Able dentist will make a model of your teeth by taking impressions to create custom-made dentures.

Partial dentures may be used when remaining teeth are not strong enough to hold a bridge or in cases where several teeth are missing. Partial dentures are made up of one or more artificial teeth held in place by clasps that fit onto adjacent natural teeth and can be removed for cleaning.

Full dentures are used when a patient is missing all of their teeth. Implant stabilized dentures are recommended. Call to book your FREE consultation.
