Sedation

Nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation are two options we offer to lower your anxiety while you’re in the chair.

Dental Surgery

Able offers you an X-ray and consultation, so you can discuss all your dental needs personally with our patient-care co-ordinator. You’ll have a complete understanding of the procedure and how it can improve your life.

When upper teeth are removed, just a thin wall of bone separates your maxillary sinuses (behind your cheeks above your upper teeth) and your mouth. Dental implants need bone to hold them in place. When the sinus wall is quite thin, bone must be added to provide a secure anchor for the implants.

Often, sufficient bone between your upper jaw and the sinus floor allows the sinus lift and implanting to be done as a single procedure. If not, the sinus lift must be performed first, and, after several months of healing, the implants will follow. In some cases, the sinus lifts may be avoided by placing dental implants at an angle.
